Explaining AWS to my 9-year-old in under 150 Words

AWS stands for Amazon Web Services, and it’s like a big computer in the sky. We can use this computer to store our pictures, videos, and other important things we want to keep safe. We can also use it to run websites, apps, and other programs that we use every day.

Imagine Dad’s really old computer that is slow and takes forever to do anything. AWS is like having a super-fast computer that you can use from anywhere in the world, and you don’t have to worry about it breaking or losing your important files.

Lots of big companies like Netflix and NASA use AWS because it helps them do their work better and faster. It’s like having a giant toolbox that you can use to build cool things. So even though you can’t see it, AWS is all around us, helping people do amazing things every day.
